A few notes...

1.) They only use an instrumental arrangement in the commercial

2.) The song means many different things to many different people for even more reasons. Some love the dense lyrical content, some crave the spastic, fun and moving musical arrangements that Ian Anderson has written and performed.

3.)The lyrical content of Thick as a Brick can be interpreted in almost an infinate number of ways. Ian Anderson, on several occasions, has even gone so far as to say it really means nothing but what you make of it. He also states that the title "Thick as a Brick" is a play on this fact.

But, to each his own, that's just my $0.02
