Aqualung
The
"classic" Tull album, seen as an essential chapter in the
chronicles of classic rock... it's lyrical content was monumental at the
time of it's release and the music still stands alone today

BBC
Live In Concert
By
far, the best live recording of Jethro Tull in recent years. This album
took its sweet time getting to the states and has been published by
several different labels, but regardless, it is the same recording. Very
strong playing from Tull, and some great material is covered here. I
highly recommend this live recording.
Benefit
[Remaster + Bonus Tracks]
The
first Tull album to produce some of the bands most solid hits, especially
in America, where the album broke Tull into the top 10 for the first time.
Benefit was also Tull's first platinum record. This version is digitally
remastered with 4 bonus tracks.

Bends
Like a Willow [Single]
This
CD was released in Europe as a stamped limited edition [5,000 copies]
single. There are two "radio edits" here from the Dot Com album,
as well as one previously unreleased track "It All Trickles
Down", that was not included on that album.

The
Best of Jethro Tull [2 CD Set]
This
was the collection that got me (and many others new fans) hooked on Jethro
Tull. Now in a new, thinner 2 CD case, it contains two full disks of hits
from 1968 to 1991...
Broadsword and the Beast
As
the 80's came, so did a plethora of electronic gadgetry and instruments.
Tull experiments with those toys here...yet they still manage to pull off a
classic Tull sound. Ian's composition skills are flying high here...
A
Classic Case
With
the help of David Palmer (former Tull keyboardist / arranger), a dozen
classic Tull tunes were given a new lease on life with Palmer himself
(Conducting The London Symphony Orchestra)
at the wheel. Ian, Martin and Dave Pegg also fill in with their electric,
or other wise amplified contributions to bring this "Twist on classic
Tull" to life...
Crest
of a Knave
This
was by far the most hard-edged album from Tull in years, even though
this Grammy winning performance didn't fly well with Metallica fans. It
was a very commercial effort from the boys, producing one of Tull's last
radio hits "She Said She Was a Dancer". Overall this is a very
fine album, with rampant flute solos and some serious guitar licks from
Martin Barre.
Jethro
Tull: The Very Best Of
The
newest addition to the Tull catalogue. Certainly a very competent
collection of Tull tunes, and at 78 minutes long, they didn't skimp on the
good stuff! |LEARN

Living
With The Past [Live CD]
The
latest live CD release from Tull includes tracks recorded throughout
Europe in the 80's 90's and up to the recent Hammersmith recordings last
year. Also included are live tracks with the original 4 members of Jethro
Tull, as well as Ian's acoustical bout with a string quartet.
Stand
Up [Remaster + Bonus Tracks]
Tull's
Second outing was Stand Up. This album still has that very early "bluesy"
sound to it, and it was one of the last albums to be written so fully in
that manner. This version is digitally remastered with 4 bonus tracks, one
of which, a track called "17" can only be found on a boxed set.
