TULL TICKER ARCHIVE

Benefit:
The first Tull album to produce some of the bands most solid hits, especially in America, where the album broke Tull into the top 10 for the first time. Benefit was also Tull's first platinum record.

Tullworld.com Review in Short

Benefit was really the first Tull album that brought the group into the mainstream. The tracks "Teacher" and "To Cry You A Song" were hits then, and are still frequent plays on classic rock stations today. Even aside from that, this album has quite a fine mixture of song types, bringing together anything from solemn tunes to psychedelic rockers that were a technological venture at the time of the album's release. It seems that Tull were testing out the waters to see what worked best, and this album surely worked... giving a huge boost to the Tull fan base, especially in America.

This version is digitally remastered with 4 bonus tracks.
