Yes, Tullworld is Still Alive

Jethro Tull Tour Plans for 2003

West Coast of U.S. to Rub Elbows with Ian

Tullworld: Still Alive...
Due to the extreme lack of news and general happenings concerning all things Jethro Tull, this is our first 'monthly' newsletter in nearly three months! I suppose that even if there were a lot going on, it may have been slow to come out due to my busy schedule of late. But, nonetheless, here is the latest news as of now, sometime in early November. Thanks to everyone who has signed up for the Tullworld.com newsletter over this past Year and 3 months -- there's over 400 of you now -- and also to the few dedicated subscribers that checked to see if I was indeed still alive and what on earth was up with the newsletter! Enough babble for now, here's what's going on with Jethro Tull...

Jethro Tull Tour Plans for 2003
There are now many tentative tour dates throughout Europe and the U.S., spanning from April through August. Tull will take their music to Russia in early August, then take a break before  traveling throughout Europe this summer. After that, it's off to the Eastern part of the U.S. for the month of August. Want to see if Tull are coming to your city soon? Check out the tour date listing at http://www.tullworld.com/tour/

West Coast of U.S. Gets Some Elbow Time
The "Rubbing Elbows" tour that was such a success during it's trial run of a dozen cities in the Eastern U.S. is coming to the West Coast! This show is a different type of experience from that of your average Tull concert in that In addition to Ian Anderson's music, local on-air personalities from each area will be seated on the stage next to the band and work with Ian to introduce songs, anecdotes and local guests. There will be two local guests - one a musical performer - and members of the audience will be invited to put their own questions to Ian and maybe even have the opportunity to come up on to the stage. Ian's band will include musicians other than those who play in Jethro Tull.

Cities to be scheduled include Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco area, San Luis Obispo, San Diego, Los Angeles and area, Phoenix, Ft. Collins, Boulder, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, New Orleans, Nashville, Louisville, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Sheboygan, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, New York, Washington, Philadelphia, Englewood, Red Bank, Savannah, Tampa, Naples, West Palm Beach.
