Tull DVD/Live CD Project Update

More Dates for 2002 U.S. Tour
Reunion,
Live Material On Tap for DVD/CD Content
Tull are hard at work on their next releases. Due out this year, not only
the long awaited Tull DVD, but also a live CD with tracks recorded just
months ago at London's Hammersmith Apollo. While the CD will most likely
only include live tracks from this recording... the DVD will be full of
many other special features.
One of those features is a
reunion with some of the former band members "to record material for
the Little Old Blues Band, Jethro Tull" Says Ian Anderson. Also on
the plate are two acoustic songs recorded with a string quartet, and some
footage from years ago out of the BBC vault.
Ian also commented that he has
a bunch of new songs which he should be getting around to recording in the
studio soon.
Possibility
of a Symphony Orchestra Tour
Ian Anderson recently
commented that he has
been "talking to some symphony orchestras recently and will be
considering a solo date or two in the next year as a guest with some of
them." He also commented that he didn't want to make it a full
rock group with orchestra thing, but would rather like to pull out some
solo work and

US Tour, More Dates
Fuel 2000 has been hard at work with Jethro Tull, and they have planned
out a tentative tour schedule for Summer 2002. All dates are here, though
some venues have not been confirmed. See the list
of 2002 USA tour dates on Tullworld.com. The tour will be covering many
venues and cities that Tull have never played before, so if you have been
waiting for your favorite band to come to your city... this may be your
year. The last of the venues will be confirmed shortly, so check back
