Legendary Rock Bands Shake Up TNN on 'Classic Rock'

NASHVILLE, Tenn., July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- From jazz and blues inspired rock to progressive rock, four legendary bands -- Jethro Tull, The Edgar Winter Band, The Tubes and Night Ranger -- will perform some of their biggest hits when they rock TNN in August on ``Classic Rock.'' The pair of one-hour specials are produced by High Five Entertainment.

``Classic Rock'' featuring The Tubes and Night Ranger premieres Sunday, August 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT with a second airing on Saturday, August 11 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The Jethro Tull and Edgar Winter Band music special premieres on Saturday, August 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT with a second airing on Sunday, August 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Since the band's founding in 1967, Jethro Tull has sold more than 60 million albums and performed more than 2,500 concerts in 40 countries. Jethro Tull will be touring the U.S. and Europe beginning in August, performing such hits as ``Thick As A Brick,'' ``Aqualung'' and ``Locomotive Breath.''

High Five Entertainment, based in Nashville, is a leading producer of music specials, award shows, live events and documentaries for network and cable television outlets.
